techquilla Posted November 26, 2002 Share Posted November 26, 2002 ok...here is the problem....i installed wine and it worked fine.....now i want to use kazaa lite on wine......i did some research and realized that i have to use some of the win98's dlls in order to make it work properly....... 1. one of my problem is that i don't have anymore win98 (2k/XP doesn't work according to source). 2. MY other problem is that my XP partition is formatted in NTFS....and i dodn't know how to recomplie the kernel and what i modification on the kernel i gotta do to make redhat be able to access the NFTS file system. 3.what i was thinking was to install windows98 on a partition of my second harddrive where my redhat linux is installed. but the problem is that when i installed linux, i used the grub boot loader......if i install 98 now, i'm afraid that i'll override the grub boot loader and i'll be unable to boot into linux or windows XP( which btw is on my first harddrive). so, that's basically my little problem here......anybody can help me figure out a way to solve it? or is there another easier way...... thanks in advanced.....^^ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I agree though about using google, people say that others think it is the answer to everything, but if you just search, it actually can be. Thats where i usually go when im looking for any information at all. Google has been labled the hackers search engine, which makes scence.
