Will Some One Test My First App - I'm A Noob ;)

Question

This is the first app I have ever done - I am a web designer/flash guy professionally and decided I wanted to learn VB. Well I get VB.NET for free so that's what I learned on. Unfortunately - because of this you must have the .NET framework installed on your system in order for this app to werk - I haven' figured out how to "deploy" it with the .NET framework.

Ok enough crap, this prog is called CodeKeeper and this is the 1st beta. It stores, create and edits code snippets or whatever you want for any language, etc. Stores everything in an XML file too in case you want to use it somewhere else. V2 will allow network shared snippets.

Please let me know what you think - I already have a bunch of ideas for the main release but please feel free to give your input.

Here's a screenie:

Here's the beta:

looks good. but i've seen lots of professional code management programs and they have lots more features. some stuff u could do:

  • password protection (encrypt it)
  • clipboard management
  • syntax highlighting
  • class management
  • module management
  • exchange snippets with others (download/upload)
