Huleboeren
Look at this video See how it zooms/pans around on faces? Pretty sweet when you want to show family pictures to friends and family Any PS3 owners that can confirm this?

Brandon Live Veteran Posted December 26, 2006 Veteran Share Posted December 26, 2006 That's cool, I think Vista does something like that as well.
Ajapi
Looks nice! Simple feature, not the kind that'd make you buy the system, but will make current owners go
Dazzla Veteran Posted December 26, 2006 Veteran Share Posted December 26, 2006 I noticed this, I had some holiday snaps and whereas on my Mac it just randomly moved the photos about, on the PS3 it honed in on their face every single time.
Bhav
OMG, I'm going to go spend 600 dollars for that. You say that as if you're paying $600 for 1 feature.
PL_ Veteran Posted December 26, 2006 Veteran Share Posted December 26, 2006 I likw where it throws the pictures down. However, I can't stand the way that 360/MCE wants to do this artistic zoom that just ****es everyone off...

You say that as if you're paying $600 for 1 feature. Nah, you're paying for it for two. This and Blu-Ray. :p
Menge
that's nice :) shame that stuff didn't make into vista, as brandon thought. wouldn't it be awesome to have a program like Microsoft's Phodeo concept that'd recognize faces and catalog your pics for you? Brandon Live Veteran Posted December 26, 2006 Veteran Share Posted December 26, 2006 shame that stuff didn't make into vista, as brandon thought. Well the slideshow does have a pan & zoom mode that seems to do a decent job picking out the focused object at least, which is what I was talking about.
