Pfff, back to college tomorrow, but all throughout the holidays, excluding xmas day, I havent been out of bed till atleast 2pm, and not getting to sleep till around 4 or 5am.

Tonight, I wont be able to get to sleep even if I try, so has anyone got any sleeping concoctions? :p

A fat joint and a few beers are available? Would that help? Pot never really makes me sleepy unless I've had alot!

Don't really know if this is true or not as I haven't tried it, but I read somewhere a long time ago in the news paper (Before the internet - gasp!), that if you can't get to sleep, place a half cut onion in a jar and cover it up with plastic wrap for a few minutes, then remove it and take several deep whifs of the onion smell. It makes your eyes burn and water, but also supposedly helps induce sleep.

Well if there is no sex the one arm bandit would help :) I'm pretty sure disturb3d doesn't want to smell like onion the next day, or his room for that matter :)

Benadryl usually works for me for the "quick" fix to sleep.
For long term, I try to take 6mg of Melatonin about an hour
before bed, and trying to get to bed at the same time every
night. For college age people, I doubt that would do you
any good. For us "antiques" over 40, the body starts dropping
off Melatonin output, which is suppose to regulate the sleep/wake
cycle or something like that. I just know that it works for me.

Another thing I found out is that cutting off the intake of caffine
by 4pm helps.
