By Sam Kennedy, 02/01/2007 1UP has the world exclusive first look at what many would consider the ultimate Castlevania combo for PSP: Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles. We've known a PSP Castlevania has been in the works for quite some time (series producer Koji Igarashi confirmed this to us in an interview last year, plus EGM has been dropping hints about it for a while now), and now we can fully reveal it. Dracula X Chronicles features a 3D (but with 2D gameplay -- think Ultimate Ghosts & Goblins) remake of one of the best Castlevania games: Rondo of Blood. It's especially cool considering most people have never played it; the game was only released in Japan on the Turbo Duo (though an inferior version did make it here as Dracula X for the SNES). It also includes both the original version of the game plus -- get this -- Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, the best Castlevania game ever. It sounds like a dream come true for Castlevania fans.
