You can see it here, its pretty cool as screen shots go, if your on 56k defiantly don't follow this link.

Though i warn you, its not the best quality in the world.

All screen shots should be like this, so much cooler, lol.

Here's the article from Kotaku:

Print institution Game Informer has revealed they've got the scoop on Naughty Dog's upcoming PLAYSTATION 3 action game Uncharted: Drake's Fortune due for their next issue. The online version of GI has scant details but throws us a bone in the form of some artwork and a snazzy, Quicktime-required 3D screenshot. What else about Uncharted will get you hot, bothered and ready to spend? Pirates!

To an extent he is correct though. It will improve... to what level? We won't know till the future.

I'll be disappointed if this doesn't sharpen up by a good margin - The creators of R&C always produce amazing gfx. However it still looks like it'll be a great game.

Its no the point, the fact is Sony showed a lot of pre-rendered videos at last E3 saying "this is what games WILL look like", side by side comparison with realtime and its just dreadful, now i know why there wont be any Killzone at GDC or whatevers coming up next.

Does sony have any control over what Naughty Dog says or does? or wat screenshots they release?

When i first looked at the quicktime 3d screenshot i thought it looked great! but now that the guy above did the side to side comparison i see how much it has changed from the other screenshots but i aint got anything bad to say about it! i still think it looks great and wanna see more vids of it in motion!

No but Sony choose to put out the target renders at E3 saying thats what games will look like.

Im sure Naughty Dog also see it as a target render aswell! Same goes with MotorStorm didnt end up identical but it is still a very very impressive game!

I see renders/early previews as target that the game developer's strive to reach (also note, not only Sony use renders...). Something they feel may be possible in time if not right off the bat.

On that theory maybe the 2nd/3rd gen of software titles will look more like the renders? Most likely.

We will have to wait and see.

Thats my take on it anyway. I don't like to be soo sureshot until proven by a final build.

That was unnecessary.

And whether or not it's finished is not as important as the fact that Sony does not make this game. If Naughty Dog decided to produce an unrealistic demo then it's their fault. Stop being ignorant and silly.

I dont care if Sony made the game or not, the fact is they chose to show the pre-rendered footage at E3, just like most of the other pre-rendered footage the actually realtime gameplay doesnt live up to.

Yeah but E3 took place very early in the game's development. You can't seriously expect them to show an incomplete, broken version of the game can you? When they've had little time to optimise it for the PS3, sort out bugs etc etc

A lot of the games they showed were early in the development process. Heavenly Sword was...but it lived up to its expectations at TGS (it looks and plays fantastic)...what's to say that won't happen with this too?

The trailer we saw wasn't CG as such, it was all rendered using the PS3 game engine.

GN: Definitely. Of course, we think that the most important question that a lot of people have right now is "how much of that footage was CG and how much was real-time?"

Wells: The entire trailer was rendered in real-time using our PS3 game engine. All of the models, textures, shaders and effects are in-game.

IGN

As an example, the trailer we saw was in essence the same as the trailer we saw for Halo3, Using the games engine but not the finished product.

Im sure you will get people like Bhav coming in with its "but its still in beta and its not finished yet remarks"

But your right, lets go into all the beta game topics and say how crap they are! halo3 anyone? wait, what's that, some of us aren't pricks and wait for the finished product? oh well.

It's a 360 players' words of wisdom you know. Everything non-360 looks and plays like crap.. no matter what phase of development it's at or who develops it. "Oh my god that alpha/beta/launch release of <insert game here> looks like garbage! Typical Sony!" I still have to say.. this game looks fairly appealing. Might peel some of us away from RFOM!

If it was rendered by the PS3 game engine then why a year down the line does it look graphically inferior.

Why do people try and hit back at Microsoft when someone has negative things to say about the PS3, its quite sad and just for the record i think Halo is overrated and the beta looks rubbish.

You are awfully presumptuous that im automatically a 360 "player" because i have negative things to say about the PS3, typical knee jerk response for people trying to justify how much they paid for PS3. Yes im OBVIOUSLY a 360 fanboy, as long as you ignore the PS2, PSP on my desk and PS3 on pre-order.

Gran Turismo, Metal Gear Solid, Motorstorm, God of War, ICO team games, Final Fantasy and all the other exclusives i cant get elsewhere. Just because i criticise the console doesnt mean i dont want to play the games. Im not THAT much of a "fanboy".

It was the first game that came to mind that I've seen lately where they showed a trailer of the games engine and the latest thing we've seen of the game didn't look as good as it.

I don't care if It's Microsoft's or not, it was just an example, either way its not the finished product.

Maybe because of the way they've done the screen shot, how am I suppose to know, I'm not the developer I couldn't answer that question.

I didn't post the screen shot in the first place because of its amazing quality of doom, but because it was the first 3D screen shot I had seen from a game in a more game like environment.

Its nothing to do with the way theyve took the screenshot, the fact is they are using pre-rendered target footage and it just makes them look stupid when the games turn out to look worse.

Well in my opinion Halo 3 looks like **** compared to the prerendered video they showed some time ago (the one with the two kids and the shield grenade and stuff).

I hope someone really understands this message, but knowing how stupid fanboys are, I doubt it.
