thegame2388 Posted February 19, 2007 Share Posted February 19, 2007 I already have Yellowdog Linux on the PS3 but when I try putting Nestopia or ZSNES, they don't work. I tried a couple of Linux emulators and they don't real work/or are really confusing. Is there anyone tha tknwos a simple way to play games? MadFerIt Posted February 20, 2007 Share Posted February 20, 2007 (edited) The only thing I can tell you is that you need programs compiled for PPC Linux. PPC means PowerPC (which is the CPU used by both the 360 and PS3, and used to be inside Apple PC's until they switched to Intel X86). So make sure the programs you download and run are PPC, not X86, and they should work fine. But just to let you know, Linux on the PS3 can't use its RSX chipset, so emulation may not run as fast as you expect.
