Mentat
I'm running Mandrake Linux 9.0 with a Soyo SY-K7V Dragon Plus mobo. The mobo has a built in NIC, but it doesn't work in Linux. I recently got a broadband and want to be able to have the 1337 speed in Linux. Right now I am restricted to Win XP Pro if I want broadband. I would appreciate any help! DrunkenMaster
It prob will work in Linux. If you get the chipset of the onboard NIC you could get it to work if you re-compile the kernel w/ the appropriate chipset.
Xe|oN
Yup, tell me what chipset the onboard lan is and I'll tell you what kernel module you need for it. Shouldn't be any need to recompile the kernel. :)
