Reminder from Vista Team: Vista set to expire May 31

Recommended Posts

From the Windows Vista Team Blog:

On 31 May 2007, all Customer Preview Program (CPP) pre-release versions of Windows Vista will expire. If you are running a pre-release version of Windows Vista (Beta 2, RC1 or RC2), you will begin to receive warning notifications about the upcoming expiration on 18 May. To avoid work disruption and loss of data, we strongly recommend that customers running any of these pre-release versions of Windows Vista migrate their PCs to the final version of Windows Vista prior to 31 May.

Full details and FAQ about what you can do with a computer still running a CPP version after that date can be found at the full post here.

I read its coming out in Q4. I believe intel leaked it, which got MS into a stress and the whole "No comment" thing.

I'll probably be getting some emails since I reported the Beta 2 release, and since then I've been getting constant emails that go along the lines of "where vista beta key? I no pay for Vista.".

No, I don't help them :p . Actually, I usually send them a relatively nasty message back.

Nooooooo! Lol, jk. I gotta buy that copy of Home Premium soon.

Heh. Same here. My birthday is coming up, so I know what I'm asking for.

In a way, I kind of wanna leave this RC1 install running until the 31st just so I can see what happens. :p
