You're right you do need serious help ;)

If you still have the ISO's on your hard drive get MD5 summer from: http://www.md5summer.org/ . Its a nice little program been using it for a while. Run the program against the ISO you downloaded. Then download the .md5 file from the ftp site you downloaded from and open it. Compare the two numbers, if they don't match chances are the CD is bad.

Saves a load of time to check the MD5. The chances the files are bad/different and the MD5 matches are over one in one billion. The odds are in your favor :D

What media were you burning this to? Cause if it's CD-RW, then it might screw up on you. Well this didn't happen with Mandrake 8.2, but then again, the CD-RW's were Verbatim! The ones I tried for Mandrake 9.0 Beta were Memorex, and their quality is poor. So when you check for the CD-R or CD-RW media, make sure it's a Verbatim or a TDK!

Redownload the ISO from some other location

Here is the list of mirrors

http://www.redhat.com/download/mirror.html

Check the ISO with some MD5 checker or Boot from CD1 and there is a option to check all your cds for errors.
