thingsforjason Posted December 23, 2002 Share Posted December 23, 2002 This have the same contents as the web installer right? not exactly. but both get directx9 installed. the web installer is just smaller, and i think it only downloads the files it deems worthy. when i did it the web installer only grabbed 9 megs of stuff. but redistributable is 30 megs. anyway. it's just nice to have the redist one so i don't have to download for each machine, and i can toss it on my monthly repair cd.
