TMZ has learned that Paris Hilton has not only had her sentence cut short, she is already out of jail!

Unimpeachable sources tell TMZ the deal was sealed yesterday, and that Hilton made her exit early early this morning.

She was originally sentenced to 45 days in jail, but that was reduced to 23. She served a total of three days -- the normal stay for a violation of this kind.

The L.A. County Sheriff's Department will hold a news conference in an hour to discuss what went down

Madness anyone else would have to serve it...

LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- Paris Hilton was freed from jail Thursday morning, just three days after she began serving what was to be a 23-day sentence for violating probation, according to celebrity Web site TMZ.com.

TMZ.com quoted what it called "unimpeachable sources" saying Hilton left the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California, early Thursday.

The Web site said L.A. County Sheriff's Department would hold a news conference at 7 a.m. Pacific time (10 a.m. Eastern) to discuss her release.

Hilton checked into the facility Sunday night to begin serving a sentence for violating probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case. The sentence, originally 45 days, was reduced to 23 for various reasons, including good behavior

Let's hope she does a bit of drink driving again...and fcking loses her legs, smashes up her face and ends up a paraplegic. Maybe then she might just start to fcking appreciate what she has in life compared to others!

She's a scum sucking maggot breath low life scuzz bucket trash.

I hate that thing.

Haha, ridiculous... What a joke on their legal system...

I bet any person can get out of jail that easily? No? :p

I doubt she changed a whole lot for the long term while in the can.

I wonder if she even had time for that even if she wanted? :p

Edit:

Paris Hilton has been fitted for ankle bracelet and put under house arrest, after authorities determined to release Hilton from prison due to medical reasons

LOL, medical reasons? I bet she refused to eat their food and they immediately bowed to that. :p

If it's anything else -- what kind of medical aid can she get at home but not in jail?

Some sites are saying that she was put on house arrest with an ankle bracelet for "health concerns." Just one more example of the screwed up legal system in this country. If people don't stand up against this type of behavior from your (I say your because I can't vote) elected officials things will never change.

sorry, but to serve just 3 days of what was supposed to be a 45 day sentence? That's just taking the p**s a little bit don't you think?

This whole Paris Hilton thing is a joke. She serves 3 days in jail, and is then placed on house arrest for health reasons?! WTF?! She needs to have her arse beaten severely for the crap that she puts everyone through. She drives drunk, gets off. She drives with a suspended license, gets off. She then gets pulled over again for violating probation, and only serves 3 days of a 45 day sentence. I don't know about you, but I know I'd be in jail alot longer than 3 days if I did any of that.

She needs to die.

LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- Paris Hilton was let out of jail Thursday morning, just three days after she began serving what was originally to have been a 45-day sentence for violating probation, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said at a press conference.

Hilton must wear a monitoring bracelet and remain at her home for another 40 days, said Los Angeles County Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore.

Medical considerations "played a part" in the decision to offer Hilton home confinement for the remainder of her sentence, Whitmore said.

He said privacy rules prohibited him from giving details about the medical issues, but celebrity Web site TMZ.com earlier quoted sources saying Hilton was refusing to eat much of the jail food served her.

Whitmore said that after "extensive consultation with medical personnel" it was decided to offer Hilton "reassignment" to home confinement, which she and her lawyers accepted. (Watch Hilton enter jail Video)

Part of the deal was that her original sentence of 45 days, which had been reduced to 23 days if she showed good behavior behind bars, would be restored to the full length. Although she reported to the jail just before midnight Sunday and departed in the early hours of Thursday, she has been given credit for a five days, he said.

Whitmore said the decision to send Hilton home was made by a panel of officials in the sheriff's department, although the judge who sentenced her was advised of it.

Ok, so she refuses to eat the jail food which of course isn't up to her standards, so they let her go home.

Although I should not let it get to me as I realize what an absolute travesty it is to even care about the life of a celebrity, a pseudo one at that, this truly bothers me to no end. It sincerely and truly does.

This just epitomizes what our system is all about. The Haves, and The Have Nots.
