game_over
I've just attempted to install windows vista ultimate on my laptop.. i think it was dowwn to the final processes and restarted itself, then it says windows could not load because something was missing... i cant remember the exact error message but i'm sure it said something about the registry. It said run the startup repair from the vista cd but this has been searching for problems for the past 15/20 minutes.. any ideas?

Dance.
Is your Vista downloaded from the net or pirated?
petroid
If it's a legit downloaded copy, try burning it at a slower speed. Otherwise, try reinstalling and hope for the best!
