Mr. Black
It's been awhile since I had Linux running on my comp, but Can any of you gzip all of the Sounds for events (like Windows Sounds) into a tarball for me? I really want some new sounds for Windows but there are no sites that have things like that, so I'll borrow them for *nix. Thanks

Phantom Spaceman
i'm a bit confused here :unsure:you want windows sounds in linux or linux sounds in windows? I believe he wants the sounds from Linux (probably from Gnome or KDE) zipped so he can download them and put them on his Win Box.

MulletRobZ
Ok! I'll straighten up this confusion in plain English! Mr. Black wants the sounds from Windows zipped into a Tarball or a GZip file so he can use then on his Linux machine! But before any of us can do that (I'll have to try to hack the CAB files in Linux to do this) , which version of Windows do you want the sounds from, Mr. Black? I got all the installation disks from Windows 95 and up, excluding Windows ME and NT 4.0. So once I can read the CAB files, then I can try to send them to you. mezz
lmao, that's 10000x better! It's a lot better than I expect.. ;) Anyway, Linux doesn't has the sound by default. Which WM you are asking for? Like, Gnome's sounds? or KDE's sounds? Or some apps?
