UnaBonger
Ok, I've been playing with Red Hat 8 for a few days now... I downloaded a calendaring application that supposedly will sync up to my work calendar (Corporate Time). I downloaded and extracted the file and in the folder I get a qet a *.sh and a few *.so files... How do I turn these into a RPM or some form of a usable application. Thanks... :D

zivan56
.so files are like DLL's, they are not executable. To run the .sh files, open a console and do: chmod a+x whatever.sh ./whatever.sh
