SuperJediMedia
If you goto downloads.com this morning, you will find the featured download on the main page is a 3D desktop software - 3DNA Desktop. I looked at the screenshots, they are beautiful, and there is like 90% of approval rating for this software, but the #s of voters is not a lot, yet. And there are skins, and themes for this software as well. I have not tried this yet, but I will later today. The full software just cost $29.99 Try it, then discuss :) http://www.3dna.net/
robinmthomas
I have heard that this is great, but that it take way too many resources to the point of being unrealistic.

evulfun
I've used this on a couple of computers. My machine at work ran it fine with no hiccups, but I have a Dual AMD 1900 w/ 1GB of ram and an Nvidia Riva/TNT 32MB video card. Machine at home ran ok, but with noticeable jumps here and there, at home I have a Athlon 1Ghz w/ 512 MB of ram and an ATI 7000 63 MB video card. If you use a theme that doesn't have to much to render it will work fine. It's easy to configure and there is lots of room for configuration. Almost everything is customizable. I am waiting till they bring out some different themes and I might try it again.
