I actually have no idea. I was lurking around the site in 2008-2009 and then finally decided to join since I saw that ad-bot face telling me to register hah. :rofl:

I honestly don't recall how I discovered Neowin. I do remember lurking since the Windows Whistler (XP) days. Neowin was the only community at the time I liked during that era. I eventually signed up a few years later and have been hooked since :)

I first came here to find help on building a circuited, non-battery powered, iron-cored selenoid.

Thanks to this site, I think I've figured out the basics and am now ready to start my science project!

'sigh'

That is, once I figure out how to calculate how many Gauss's my EM has to be to deflect He+2 particles at 5.062 MeV a piece.

Is life not fun? =)
