ATi X1300 or Nvidia Gefors 8400 GS

Recommended Posts

umm the x1300 is a terrible terrible card, it uses shared memory and it is part of ati's last gen cards...the 8400 is current gen for nvidia. the 8400 could be compared to an x2400 probably.

the 8400 should blow the x1300 out of the water

the thing i found odd though is the nvidia shows up as 3.5 graphics, 4.0 gaming in vista rating, wher as the x1300 shows up as 4.2 graphics 4.7 gaming...?

For games? Neither.

8800GT is the only card that matters. Anything else is a waste of money for abysmal performance in modern DX9 games or ANY DX10 title.

aye but they were both freebies, and i cant afford an upgrade for a good 4/5months :p

The GeForce 8400GS is best out of those two cards. It should score 4.4 in gaming graphics and 3.6 in desktop/aero in vista rating if its configured rite.
