Found a way to use Mandrake 9.1/0 if the USB fails

Recommended Posts

On LILO or Grub, simply press escape, of whatever you use to get to the command line for it, and then type 'linux noapic'. This will sort out all your problems.

It is nice the way the Mandrake site dosen't make a big deal of the problem, and makes it hard to find, when it obviously IS a big deal, since APIC support in Linux atm is total garbage.
