unimatrixzer0
The computer in question is running Windows XP. Trying to delete some user accounts, but they won't delete. When I get to the part where I tell it I don't care that that user accounts files will be lost during the delete, it'll just freeze on that process. Not the computer, just that process. I end up having to end task it. Not sure whats causing it to freeze during the delete. Is there another alternative manual way of deleting user accounts? Control Panel User Accounts isn't working for me in this case.
deactivated01032015
maybe it's deleting files and somehow hangs. Try to manually delete the user files and then delete the account. Also, there is no need to delete all, try with just user's documents or something (where most of the files are). trashpickinman
I did a test in XP Pro, created an account and added some files, then deleted the account using the 'Local Users and Groups' snapin for the Microsoft Management Console, it deleted the account but left the files. Run > mmc > File > Add/Remove snap in.
