I laughed when Mike Tenay botched things up with him; Taz called him by his TNA name (Brother Runt), then Tenay immediately called him Spike. :p Gotta say, bit of a shocker at the end of this week's show (Taz revealing himself as an Aces & Eights member, that is, not them crashing the party, which was too obvious); maybe we'll see the end of this section of Botchamania... The company claims it was an injury (and there will be an angle to explain it on the January 24 episode of Impact Wrestling) but it's actually because Hardy can't travel due to his legal problems.Sting will replace Hardy on the tour. This means that unless Hardy is on the show through pre-taped vignettes or interviews, he will miss four weeks of Impact Wrestling TV. Hardy has been advertised for the tour since tickets went on sale eight months ago. Here is the official announcement: TNA IMPACT WRESTLING regrets to inform our fans in the UK and Ireland that Jeff Hardy will not be on the Road To Lockdown Tour, due to an injury sustained on the TNA IMPACT WRESTLING show on January 18.However we are delighted to announce that ?The Icon' Sting will be replacing Jeff at the TNA live events in Dublin, Glasgow, Nottingham, Manchester and London. Also appearing on all five shows will be global wrestling superstars including Kurt Angle, Bully Ray, Austin Aries, Bobby Roode, James Storm, Magnus, RVD, Tara and Velvet Sky. The Immortal Hulk Hogan and Brooke Hogan were recently added to the roster for TNA's TV tapings in Manchester and London. The stars of TNA Wrestling: British Boot Camp ? He's good on the mic, and he seems to have the natural ability to draw heat from the crowd just by appearing on the camera (which I like to call the Vickie Guerrero gift). He's pretty highly regarded in PWI as well; he won three awards in 2010 (Feud of the Year, and Most Hated Wrestler of the Year, both with The Nexus, and Rookie of the Year), and last year, he was #84 in the PWI 500, so that's a pretty big accomplishment. Oh yeah, he's also a former 2-time Tag Team Champion, and a 2-time Slammy Award winner, but those aren't as important. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

When they aren't pushing the stupid "weak lawyer that is used to lose fights" he's a good wrestler, he's good on the mic and would be a good heel. There's quite a few that deserve a push that get held back so people like Cena and Orton can be top dogs. MightyJordan Posted January 20, 2013 Share Posted January 20, 2013 Adrian Neville (PAC) vs. Drew McIntyre (Drew Galloway) with Sheamus in the crowd in Real Quality Wrestling (RQW), back in I'm guessing around 2007, as it says it was before Sheamus was signed by WWE, and he went to RQW then. I never knew Sheamus and Drew McIntyre had a big rivalry across the UK before they both went to WWE. Would love to see that rivalry reignited... Obviously Vince likes him. He gets mainstream press. But in the ring, he is below average. Yes, he has mic skills. Yes, he has a good look. Yes, he smashes out Jennifer Hudson. But thats about it.
