Jack Swagger has been pulled from WWE live events this weekend; however it should be noted that the company is still advertising him for Raw next week and Tuesday's Smackdown taping. No word on whether or not Swagger has been pulled from the live events due to his arrest.

The Wrestling Observer reports that WWE sources note that Jack Swagger was scheduled to win the World Heavyweight Title from Alberto Del Rio at WrestleMania 29. No word yet on what his arrest means for booking plans but WWE creative was working late on Wednesday night to come up with ideas, which doesn't sound good for Swagger and Zeb Colter.

There's talk that if WWE officials saw fit to change the direction of the match, then Dolph Ziggler would most likely get the WrestleMania match with Del Rio.

If Swagger ends up suspended and loses the WrestleMania match, the arrest altogether would cost him upwards of $250,000.

If DDP could do this for this man, he can and will re-invent Scott Hall. This is truly inspiring.

Indeed. I've watched that video many times, it's amazing. I was actually planning on starting DDP Yoga this week, but something unexpected happened within my family, so I've put it on hold until next week, at least.

Prior to Michael McGillicutty's match against Tensai at the WWE live event in Doha, Qatar last night, John Laurinaitis made his return to WWE and announced a dance off between the two wrestlers.

Hmm, maybe we might be seeing Mr. Excitement back on TV in the near-future...

...well, it seems Zeb Colter attracted the attention of the biggest right-wing nutjob in America: Glenn Beck. I'm not going to post his incoherent rant, but he essentially just calls wrestling fans "stupid". Zeb Colter and Swagger's posted a video rebuttal to him and completely destroyed his 18 minute rant in just over 2...

There's an (even better) extended version of the Colter/Swagger rebuttal from earlier...

I bet a lot of the kayfabe protectors will be furious. :p

Glenn Beck responded to WWE's invitation for him to cut an unedited rant on RAW for 5 minutes.

Well at the very least they are going to continue Swagger and Zeb's gimmick it seems. Whether they let Swagger win the title at WM is another story. At this point with all the publicity it might be a good idea to let him win it. But then again, FOX etc may start reporting (if they haven't already) about Swagger's arrest last week and all that crap. And then there is the whole "does he deserve the win after last week, and can he represent the company going forward" stuff.

And this guy playing Zeb, I've never seen him before. Am I missing something? Not to mention it's really weird hearing them speak as themselves lol using their real names like that.

Better known as 'Dirty' Dutch Mantel, but was also shown previously in WWE as 'Uncle Zebikiah'. He was TNA's head writer for a while.

Well, there might be a potential spanner in the works, as the police who arrested Swagger are pushing for the maximum sentence...

GULFPORT, MISS. ? If all professional wrestler Jack Swagger had were tickets for speeding and misdemeanor marijuana possession, he could pay them by mail or online.

Gulfport city prosecutor Kirk Clark tells The Sun Herald (http://bit.ly/WYVShM) that it is the driving under the influence charge that requires Swagger to return to Gulfport.

Swagger, whose real name is Donald Jacob ?Jake? Hager Jr., was arrested just before midnight Tuesday in Gulfport on charges of speeding, misdemeanor marijuana possession and DUI.

Hager, 30, had just completed taping the TV show ?WWE SmackDown? in Biloxi at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.

Police Lt. Craig Petersen said police stopped his northbound car on Lorraine Road about six miles south of Interstate 10. He said Swagger?s car was towed and he was released from custody to a friend who picked him up at the police station.

Swagger?s municipal court date is March 12. The charges are misdemeanors.

If convicted, records show Swagger faces fines of $188 for driving 10 mph over the speed limit, $437 for a small amount of marijuana and $1,300 if it?s his first DUI offense. The DUI charge carries a mandatory court appearance and he could lose his driver?s license for 90 days.

Clark said the court has allowed some defendants in limited circumstances to plead guilty to DUI without a court appearance. That only happens, he said, when an attorney enters a plea by affidavit and the defendant signs a notarized waiver of rights.

?We have never recommended mere fines and fees only on a DUI,? Clark said. ?We always recommend the maximum sentence of two days in jail for first offenders. That time can be suspended but only on completion of certain court-ordered conditions like probation, classes, AA meetings, etc.?

Kirk said a conviction includes an order to complete a Victim Impact Panel class, he said.

Swagger, who lives with his wife and child in in Boca Raton, Fla., is a native of Perry, Okla. The 6-foot-7, 260-pound Swagger played football and wrestled at the University of Oklahoma before he became a pro wrestler.

WWE said in a statement that ?Mr. Swagger is responsible for his own personal actions.?

Yes, it's only two days in jail, but any length of jail time will be bad PR.

And this guy playing Zeb, I've never seen him before. Am I missing something? Not to mention it's really weird hearing them speak as themselves lol using their real names like that.

Well, he's been in the business for 40 years, and he's better known as Dutch Mantel. I'll be honest, I never heard of him before, either. He spent a couple of years in WCW, then joined Smoky Mountain Wrestling when Jim Cornette started it up. Then he came to WWE as "Uncle Zeb" (hence the name "Zeb Colter") and managed, among others, JBL when he came to WWE as

. He then went to Puerto Rico and worked on the creative side. Then he joined TNA in 2003 (he's credited with bringing Awesome Kong/Kharma to TNA), left in 2009, went back to the indies, and here he is now.

Take a look at the video of Taker I posted and look at him on those pictures. He is getting fat and out of shape. He looked awesome when he faced Shawn Michaels, but lost his shape when he faced Triple-H and on those photos you posted, he looks like crap.

I won't comment, as he still looks in better shape than me. :p
