The Big Wrestling Thread!

read off of yahoo news (I think it was) that WWE is reporting Shane McMahon got several injuries from leaping off the cage.  Finally found the link on WWE:  https://www.wwe.com/shows/hellinacell/2017/article/shane-mcmahon-medical-update-following-hell-in-a-cell

The gist of it is this "A preliminary report has determined that Shane may be dealing with multiple injuries, including neck trauma, fractured ribs and a dislocated shoulder."

Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned Jimmy Jacobs is no longer working at WWE and the final straw seems to have been a picture he recently took with Bullet Club outside of Raw.

Sources say Jacobs made his exit last week, but we’ve been unable to confirm if he was released or not. We are told, however, that there was major heat on Jimmy for posting an Instagram picture of himself meeting with BC while they filmed Being the Elite last month (seen below).

As we previously reported, WWE officials were much angrier than anybody expected after Bullet Club’s “invasion” and it lead to them sending The Young Bucks a legal letter.

A rep for WWE had no comment.

Season 4's still up in the air, although Paul London very recently said funding has been secured, so it's looking hopeful. For now, though, Ultima Lucha Tres concludes next week with the two-hour-long fourth and final part. I forgot to mention it all after part one, which I really should have done. :pinch: The standout match so far was there: the Hell of War (Three Stages of Hell) match between Killshot and Dante Fox. Even by the standards Vampiro and Pentagon Jr. set in their Cero Miedo match at part two of the first Ultima Lucha, those two probably had the most brutal match in Lucha Underground.

In case anyone's curious, the "medical issues" are a viral meningitis scare on the Raw roster: http://www.prowrestlingsheet.com/illness-bray-wyatt-roman-reigns-tlc/#.Wept2WiPKUk Talk about a happy accident, though! TLC suddenly went from meh to must-see with the dream match between the former Bullet Club leaders, and Kurt Angle returning to action!
