Anyone seen "The Universe on History Channel?"

Recommended Posts

The television program on the History Channel "The Universe" is for anyone that is interested in science or astronomy. Check your local Cable or Satelite guide to find the times and dates that it's on. I know here in the US in the Northeast it's on Tuesday's at 9:00 PM EST. I am a total science geek and I am definetly going to order the DVD set as it's amazing what we are finding out about our Universe (no pun intended)

Ohh, or better yet look for the times online

I love the show. It really helped me a lot last semester when I took my first Astronomy class.

Gives you a real perspective about our universe and all the things that happen.

Ya know.... when I watch that show and go outside at night and look at the heavens it helps give me a persepctive of my place in the universe. Not even a speck of dust compared to the vast expanse that is out there, and on the time scale not even a 1/1,000,000 of a second compared to how old the universe is and how short of a time we have here on this third rock from the sun.

Just kinda helps ya think that we're all here on this Earth so why not try and make the most of it and help eachother instead of trying to destroy one another over most of the time greed, corruption, or ego's

They should play Kamelot's "Center of the Universe" as the theme song.

"...'Cause at the center of the u-ni-veeeerse...we are all aloooone." Dun-dun-dun-DUN-DUN-dun-dun-dun-dun-DUN-DUN-dun...

I'm falling behind, though. I still have to watch "Planet Earth."
