starmatrix
Hi, I have to write a piece on hard drives, and I am slightly confused as to how the read write heads "float" above the disk at such a low height. I thought the bernoulli principle meant that the pressure DECREASED between two fast moving surfaces (so the r/w head and the actuall platter)... Can anyone explain to me using the bernoulli principle why the hard drive head seems to float like this while it is moving? I hope someone here knows! thanks
