Fonts in Mozilla/Phoenix

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Im having trouble getting the fonts in some websites like this to look correct. I have followed the instructions per another post in this board on how to use the MS TrueType fonts in Linux and they help a great deal! But as you can see in the screenshot below, some of the fonts are just unreadable. :(

Screenshot of bad fonts

Is there anyway to fix this? BTW, is there anyway to antialias the fonts in Mozilla? Thanks.

what version of mozilla are you running? looks like it can't find the correct version of mozilla to match the mozilla fonts.

I've got the same problem as Panorama. What order are the RPMs supposed to be installed in?

BTY, I'm running 1.0.1 which ships with RH 8.0. Thanks in advance for any advice! :)

Could someone help me install them in mdk9?

Thanks.

You need to use the advanced mode in the Mandrake Control Centre. But only install 50 fonts at a time so your system doesn't crash. That's if you got TTF's on a Windows partition or in another directory. Mozilla fonts look exactly the same as in Windows on my system and I got Mandrake 9.0.
