I got myself one of their 3ghz badboys and everytime I boot into windows my audio sounds like ass, real low quality as if its being played from behind a glass. Sounds crystal clear in VMware so its clearly driver related. Just curious if you have the same problem. Also on another side note, does your new iMac show up as a White Mac in the sidebar? Haven't experimented much with OS X yet and am using Vista on it - I do a lot of work in Windows-only applications and can't switch just yet, so will experiment with Parallels when I get hold of it. It spins up every time the save as dialog comes up even if you don't select that drive. I hate that it does that. it shouldn't spin up unless you select the drive or something. I have indexing disabled, and whenever I bring up a dialogue box (like right clicking a link in Safari and clicking Download Linked File As) there's a couple second pause as my 5 drives spin up.
