After reading this, I think I'll wait to upgrade.

Their drivers are ****, anyway. Sound just plain stops working from time to time.

Is this just with xi-fi's or something? I got an audigy 4 from my friend and the drivers work flawlessly with it in vista x64

Although finding them was another story, it is near impossible to actually find the audigy 4 drivers on their site, it's ****ing ridiculous how badly organized it is. I managed to find the most recent ones vista Microsoft's vista compatibility site which linked me right to the page. I tried to see if I could manually find that page on their driver site for the hell of it but it proved impossible.

I have a question, Since I had my X-Fi XtremeMusic (many years), I often have an error on DLLML.exe when I shutdown or restart my computer, My computer stop but I have this error. The process can't stop correctly.

I have Vista x64 whith all lastest driver & creative utilities, and I always have this error.

Do you have an idea ?

Until they provide properly working Vista drivers for the Audigy series I'm not touching another product of theirs.

My audigy 4 works absolutely fine in vista 64 bit...

Mine crashes the computer if I'm using enough memory to go over the 32-bit barrier. I suspect the drivers aren't 100% 64-bit clean. The driver locks up, locks the computer, and screeches.

Weird I am running 64 bit vista with an audigy 4 and have never had this problem. And I do a lot of heavy gaming and such with it.

no, it isn't. you need to upgrade your Entertainment Center installation to either v3.40.21 or v5.10.16 (see here). however, if you don't use a Remote Control or OSD - then uninstall is best...

Thanks a lot, I had this poblem since I have my Xfi XtremeMusic.

Thanks a lot !!

When I installed the drivers for my SupremeFX -- it's a X-Fi based soundcard for the ASUS Rampage II Extreme mobo -- I lost all sound, so I am stuck using the default drivers: Soundmax HD...would rather use the Creative drivers so it opens up some options in games I play.

Where are the Audigy drivers? They haven't updated them since last year and they're unsigned.

Latest drivers are not for Windows 7, but for the following Operating Systems:

Microsoft Windows Vista 64-bit with Service Pack 1 (SP1), Windows Vista 32-bit with SP1, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition or Windows XP Service Pack 2.
