Hi, I am in the same boat, I would like to load default services in Vista. They accidentally got stopped and I went back in and manually put every service in the "Automatic" state and started the service each and every one of them except for the ones that Vista keeps in a "stopped" mode. I am wondering if this is correct...how can I be certain the laptop is set to it's default services? Any helpful response would be greatly appreciated. I noticed the suggested repair is a .reg file. I am not sure how to apply this. Can someone advise how to apply this file?
