Especially since modern versions allow you to undo (something that cheapens it immensely if you ask me). I mean sure, sometimes you got to get off the computer in a hurry but... nvme Posted March 14, 2010 Share Posted March 14, 2010 i use to play "speed solitaire" against a friend a few years back. we would both try to beat a game of solitaire as fast as we possibly could then send the screen shots to each other challenging the other to do better. i got 38 seconds and he finally just gave up because he couldn't beat it and i couldn't do any better. tombeau Posted September 12, 2010 Share Posted September 12, 2010 The secret to winning a lot of games in Solitaire (Vista version), is to flip through the new games until you find a game that has and ace and two different cards that you can play. For example: and ace, a seven on an eight and a jack on a queen, or any other variation. It really works. I haven't figured out how to win each time, but my average winning percent is 84.5% after playing 2,713 games! Just make sure not to get too low of a card like a 2 or 3, or a king and queen. If you stay in the middle, you will have the best luck. Forget about a new game with 3 aces, it just looks good, but you usually lose. It really doesn't matter what cards you match, just as long as they are between Queen and 3-4. Again, you HAVE to have an ace and two sets of matching cards only. Good luck! Try it. You sometimes need to go through 10-20 games to find the right one. I always use the ?draw 3? mode, but toggle to single mode by pressing the ctrl+alt+shft keys. You can backup by pressing the ctrl+z keys. I don?t know how to post a screen shot of my statistics. Someone let me know how to do it. I will post a screen shot of my stats. I have played 2,713 games and won 2284. It's a waste of time for me to just play any game. This makes it a lot more fun.
