Was girlfriends bday last night, so took her to see Avengers IMAX 3D We had a blast. The movie was far beyond what I expected it to be, even after reading all the spoilers. I was laughing so much, either from hilarious moments, or just because it was moments of joy to see this in Live Action. Everything was so well done, and the 3D was amazing.

I really liked the movie, but couldn't help being annoyed at the aspect ratio. 16:9, seriously? Who the **** would even consider shooting a proper movie in anything but 21:9?

(there were some _really_ hot people in that movie though, omg)

I watched my first movie in 3D, and it was The Avengers.

To be honest, it exceeded my expectations almost infinitely. The whole thing, it was amazingly done and made. Seriously awesome.

Already have the 3D bluray pack preordered... $30 on amazon right now (you have to 'clip the $5 coupon').

The avengers assembled pack is currently listed at $153 which seems expensive for what you get
