Yeah, I prefer 1280x960, it has the propper aspect ratio (like 800x600 etc) I usually run at 1280x960 (32bit) at 85hz. Settings on max apart from FSAA and Anisotropic, which I'll turn up when I get a new CPU. (Old duron 850 with a Geforce4 Ti4200 here) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Disabling Vsync allows your video card to render at full speed without having to wait to "sync" with your monitors refresh rate. sinatosk Posted April 6, 2003 Share Posted April 6, 2003 (edited) Quake III Arena - 1024x768 - 1280x1024 - 1600x1200 ( can't read the text tho to small :p ) - 76, 125 restricted fps, unrestricted about 320 nearly Quake III Team Arena - 1024x768 - 76, 125 restricted fps, unrestricted about 220 maxium Battlefield 1942 - 1024x768 - 100-120 fps averagg, 160 maxium Jedi Knight 2 : Outcast - 76, 125 restricted fps, 80-100 fpsaverage, 160 fps maxium Return To Castle Wolf - 1024x768 - 76, 125 restricted fps, 60-90 fps average no idea why my fps so low on rtcw Black & White - 1024x768 ( i can't use 1280x1024 for some reason ) - maxium this game supports i 80 fps and i get 80 fps Neverwinter Nights - 1024x768 - 1280x1024 - 30-60 fps average, 180 maxium ( on the menu not ingame ) Unreal 2 - 1024x768 - have no idea about fps on this game :p All the games running at maxium settings. no AA and Anisotropic Filtering at 2x ( i don't notice any graphic difference any higher than 2x so i keep it at this setting for performance ). 32 bit and 70 hz refresh rate and v-sync is dissabled Edited April 6, 2003 by zionath Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
