I got BF1942 and i installed all the Patches up to 1.31 and everything works fine. Right?? WRONG!! I load a map in either Single or Multi Player, and I can play for like, oh 4 minutes or so. It's Staggered I sometime I can play for 10 mins, even 20 sometimes. But sometime down the line, the game just STOPs. And goes to my desktop. No blackscreen, it just quits out. I can go right back into BF, but it'll happen again, and again, and again. I tried all kinds of tips from the PlanetBF Forums. And none of them work. Any suggestions. Specs in the sig. If so, sometimes this problem can occur with the sound card, I have found that reducing hardware acceleration of the soundcard can help ... Open Control Panel Open Multimedia (or possibly might be Sounds and Multimedia on your PC) Select Audio tab Select Advanced Properties Select Performance Move the slider over to the left to either Standard Acceleration or Basic Acceleration Hopefully that will work ...
