ZippyDo Posted April 11, 2003 Share Posted April 11, 2003 Hope someone can help me on this... I have a standard NT4 domain, and have just created a new server which is using Win2K Server. The server has joined the domain, but none of the other servers can connect to it. When I look at its network name it is listed with the fully authenticated domain name, whereas the other servers in my network only list the full computer name as the name of the server itself ( is: ServerA.test.test.com vs ServerA ). Does this mean the new one is designed for Active Directory structure vs non? Is there anyway to correct and get the servers into the domain correctly? Autoexec Posted April 11, 2003 Share Posted April 11, 2003 yeh definatly the 2000 box is using Active directory client, thats strage though .... weve added windows 2000 servers to our NT domains loadsa times but its never used active directory......
