2003: Which Version for a Web Server

I know this may sound stupid considering there is a Web version.....but Im looking to run a web server and wondering Enterprise can do it as well or standard...whatever which is better for a web server...i have all 3 :yes:

Enterprise is the "Creme of the Crop" it supercedes all versions below it.

Standard Supercedes, Web-Edition..

and Web-Edition Supercedes Windows XP Professional (IMO).

They all Include Microsoft Internet Information Services 6.0.

That is the key component with which you need to build a web server.

if you are concerned with cost and lisencing and all of that, web server would be the best... that is what it was made for... to be a web server at a lower cost... without alot of other server features... if you are not concerned with these things... than i would assume that all 3 perform the same when running web sites or web apps... just some editions have more features concerning other server type things
