Web page hosted from 2003 Server

Im trying to create a web page and host it off my 2003 server. In the IIS manager tool, when go into 'web sites' then i right click on the 'default web site' and try to browse i get "service unavailable" :blink: Any suggestions?

enable the service? I heard Server 2003 disabled most of the services. (just a guess :blush:)

IIS is installed, and when its Installed the service is started. So I can agree with what you're saying.

Where did you put th webpage? \inetpub\wwwroot ?

did you give the file "Internet Guest Account" Access?

Follow the steps: -

1. Open RUN

2. Type: INETMGR

3. Select Computer Name

4. Select WEB SERVICE EXTENSIONS

5. Change the STATUS of ASP from Prohibited to Allowed.

hmm...maybe contact MICROSOFT for support on their brand new product ... since you bought it you have full support right??

I'm guessing that you don't own it sir.
