polo69
In the early days of Neowin, i remember the News, and then when XP first hit, the news about XP, its is all here, so I signed up. Ok, i havent posted millions of posts, as i havent the time, but, i keep coming and looking at the News each day. I just recently looked and time flies, i have been a member for 8 years! I have gone from just learning Computing to High End Computing and have found Neowin always the best news to keep me on top of things in the Industry. Any others from the "old timers' around? Edit: fix speeeli9ng mistakes +Mirumir 1 Share

Kosh
Well I'm sure not such an "old timer" like you, but I am also a member of this community for so many years now. I'm not the uber-poster too. Most of the time I am just reading the news, and the "Jokes and funny stuff" :D But sometimes a thread catches me, like yours, and I post/help/ask . +Mirumir 1 Share

+Frank B. Subscriber² Posted March 2, 2009 Subscriber² Share Posted March 2, 2009 I'm also one of the 'old timers'. To me Neowin has evolved into a home on the web so to speak - a community from which I've gathered a lot of information, and to which I've done my best to contribute. It's been interesting to see the site change over the years. Has it changed for the better? In my opinion yes. Here's to another 7.5 years for me. +Mirumir 1 Share
BGM
It makes me chuckle when people who have been registered far shorter time then me have vast post counts... I don't post that much (although more then I used to), but I also feel Neowin has gone a bad way in recent years... people seem to only be interested in grabbing the latest beta, or bickering over console wars etc... +Mirumir 1 Share
PeteWhite
412 posts in 5.5 years, at this rate i should hit 1,000 by 2017!!! Pete +Mirumir 1 Share
Panacik
I have been here a few years. Been through a lot of changes in life and on the forums during my time. Made a lot of friends and few people who i try to ignore also on the forums. Neowin, i can honestly say, is a part of my every day life. My wife cant understand why i like Neowin so much and my parents just plain dont understand what Neowin is. Luckily i dont live with them any more though :p +Mirumir 1 Share

Sean B. Veteran Posted March 2, 2009 Veteran Share Posted March 2, 2009 What's the definition of "Oldie" :p? I'm going on 5 years here at Neowin, and I've enjoyed every minute of it. I remember when I first joined the community, everything was beta beta beta. I think we've evolved a long way since, and I can honestly say that I am pleased in the direction we are going. I can honestly say that if it were not for our members drive for excellence and a energetic community, we wouldn't be where we are today. So from an oldie to an oldie, rock on Neowin! +Mirumir 1 Share
Pajter
I don't consider myself as "one of the old guys", but I just noticed that I have been here almost 5 years. That's still pretty long imo. So maybe I'm just one of the newer oldies. :p +Mirumir 1 Share
