Jish Posted May 2, 2003 Share Posted May 2, 2003 Step 1 - Enable The Console * Open the file "pak0.pk3" located in the "base" directory with your favorite ZIP utility. * Extract "game.cfg" to a temp directory * Open "game.cfg" with wordpad and add a line "setd ui_console 1" * Save the file and add/replace into "pak0.pk3". Step 2 - Using Cheats During the game press ~ to show the console, it is more like a dos window then a console. Then simply type a cheat. The only cheat I found was "god" which not only gave me infinite life, but also infinite ammo as well. Yay, no reloads! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Wolvereen Posted May 3, 2003 Share Posted May 3, 2003 Demo is really NOT that hard honestly, you just have to think about strategy in it. Take the shuttle bay for example that everyone is having problems with. If you just try to run around and shoot those creatures, you will die. Instead, try going over to the left front corner immediately and hop up on the stacks of crates. If you back up into the corner, you can pick off most of those little critters one by one with your phaser without even getting hit. THey are far enough away, at the base of the crate, to give you enough time to duck or lean to the side (changed the "lean" keys to "q" and "e") to avoid them. From there, just hop up to the ledge and work your way past the flames giving them time to go away. Switch to your shotgun thinger and take out the critters that materialize on the ledge.
