What are you reading right now?

Saturn's Children by Charles Stross. So far it hasn't lived up to the other works of his that I have read, but I must give him credit, the gynoid/spaceship lesbian sex scene was very tastefully done.

I guess I know what my next book is going to be

A Thousand Splendid Suns.

I just finished Darkly Dreaming Dexter and have started on Dearly Devoted Dexter. I don't think I've ever enjoyed a writing style so much. Awesome books (Y)

I got a Kindle for Christmas (a surprise, not something I asked for) and I love it. It totally got me back into reading, something I've been wanting to do but just needed a little push.

I just returned "Cool It - The Skeptical Environmentalist's Guide To Global Warming" by Bjorn Lomborg and "The Gathering Storm" (The Wheel of Time Book 12) by Robert Jordan with Brandon Sanderson to my local library. I actually read all 700-odd pages of TGS within a week but since I've invested my time in another 11 books (plus the New Spring Prequel), I felt that I need to have this story finally end.

I just picked up "The Gypsy Morph: Genesis of Shannara" but I may have read this before (I'm not sure). I also picked up the "Elves of Cintra" (the previous book) and I have found out that I have definitely read that book so I'll move on to the Gypsy Morph.

The only other noteworthy book from the last few weeks/months was reading "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" which was fun but otherwise very silly. It was interesting because I knew the original source material and so I could see how the Zombies, Ninjas and the Sholin training got weaved into the original story.
