The civilians are just random people that walk around like the pedestrians in GTA3. So when you klil them, I want you to feel it. I got my hands on the full (engine and all) source code to quake2 so im updating its graphics and net code and such while making a new game. you know how in counter strike you can shoot the hostages but you loose money? In my game the pedestrians kinda walk around like normal people and react like the GTA3 ppl and run away when fired at and such. my pedestrian code isnt anywhere near as full as the GTA3 coding but the effect is about the same.
