Microsoft switches on digital rights management

Recommended Posts

A REPORT ON NEOWIN said Microsoft has turned on its digital rights management (DRM) service for Office 2003.

The technology is called "Windows Trusted Platform Technologies", and takes the shape of a plugin to shield their documents using a combination of DRM and Microsoft Passport, said Neowin.

Neowin has a heap of screenshots which it claims as exclusive up on its website, including protected email in Outlook 2003, setting up DRM, and protection for Word 2003.

You can find all of those just here
