Ayukawa
I'd got myself 2 HDDs with ntfs and fat32 partitions. When I first install Win2K3 final, all pastitions are visible to me and the everything went on smoothly. But when it had completed copying all the necessary files and reboot to continue with the rest of OS installation, a blue screen shown and ask me to perform a scandisk. Then I try to install again, all partitions in my 2nd HDD(which is not mean for any OS installation) are visible to me whereas my main HDD had now shown unpartition. After that I try to install with only my main HDD, amazingly all the partitions are visible again and no more errors occured during the installation. Now here comes the probs. When I try to get my 2nd HDD connected, all files in ntfs drives are ok but all fat32 drives are now become RAW, which caused me failed to read any single bit of the data inside all the fat32 drives. So, any ideas? Besides, I'm also having probs with messenger auto-sign in. It won't sign in unless I retype the password. This is kinda annoying  and I dun used to have such probs in Win2k3 RC1. Anyone got the same probs as well?
John Veteran Posted May 12, 2003 Veteran Share Posted May 12, 2003 disconnect all drives with ntfs partitions on them. plug in all drives with just fat32 partitions. use a win98 boot disk and see if you can get to the files. if you can, try installing windows onto one of the fat32 partitions, and don't let it format it (of course). hopefully, you'll be able to backup all your data.
