Apparently James Woods considers Rhode Island to be his home state although he was born in Utah he grew up in Warwick, Rhode Island, where he attended Pilgrim High School. Woods is among only a handful of famous people from the tiny state of Rhode Island where Family Guy is set.He has appeared as himself in two episodes of Family Guy entitled "Peter's Got Woods" and "Back to the Woods". The high school in Family Guy is called James Woods High and a forest that is briefly mentioned in The Fat Guy Strangler called James Woods are named after him.
