bishounenblue
I've searched all over the Internet and I haven't been able to find a clear answer as to what causes these errors exactly. On a fresh OEM install of Vista, updating the Windows Update Agent causes 42 4385 error events and 7 4375 error events. After the update process finishes if attempt to install the updates Windows Update finds (60 total updates), it generates thousands of these errors despite seemingly installing successfully. Also of note, updating the Update Agent and Windows Vista SP1 & SP2 manually with the executables does not generate these errors.
