0 spikey_richie
You should be able to drag-and-drop installer files from your Win7 machine into the WinXP VM. Is it not letting you?
0 Madoshi
set up a shared folder in VirtualBox that points to the folder on 7 that has the stuff you want to install shared folders can be found at \\vboxsvr\share-name in the virtual XP machine or if the software is on a CD, mount the physical CD drive in VirtualBox

0 Madoshi
shared folders on VirtualBox work mostly the same way as network shares. for example, you make a share called "apps". one way to access it is to open an Internet Explorer window and type into the address bar "\\vboxsrv\apps". it will change to a regular Explorer folder window and show the files/folders. another way is to do Tools > Map Network Drive and put in "\\vboxsrv\apps" in the location box. this will mount it as a drive letter in My Computer. replace "apps" with the name of the shared folder you setup in VirtualBox
