Every once and while, I will be surfing the web and my connection will drop. I get a yellow exclamation mark on my network icon. The only way to fix it is to do a power cycle on the router and modem and then reboot. Sometimes that will not work. I have tried a new router, still does it. Replaced the cable line, still does it. Bypassed the router, still does it. I have a SB5100 connected via ethernet. Is my modem supported on Windows 7 Ultimate x64?
