murkurie Posted February 21, 2010 Share Posted February 21, 2010 I just bought myself a HP mini 311 for my birthday, and I was wondering what web browser run's the best on a netbook Specs atom 1.6ghz Nvida ION 1gb of ram but I am upgrading to 3gb soon Windows 7 So what does everyone use on there netbooks and recommend? Of course, it might not run perfectly well on a limited device, a browser like Chrome will use more memory than a single process browser, but at 3GB of RAM that is meaningless. 9UnknownMen Posted February 21, 2010 Share Posted February 21, 2010 I run FireFox with couple of extensions (HideMenubar, Glasser, Autohide Statusbar and of course Adblock Plus). Have Chrome on standby although I've been using Opera's latest beta(10.5) more often since it's as fast and doesn't report everthing I do back to Schmidt and his Do No Evil crew.
