I think this is fantastically done. I think he'd be fine if he didn't commercialize and ###### himself off as the next trend. The way he acts, the publicity stunts he pulls, and the people that he records with really make him out to be a douche in my opinion. His popularity on the Internet, along with Lady Gaga, is making it hell for people who want to avoid them so they end up hating. I guess. Or it could be their attitude? A few people started calling him gay and now everyone is, at least most males are. He's good looking for sure, but that doesn't mean he's gay. All of those haters hate his looks, not his music. I found it annoying, but I hate kids' voices when they sing; however, I think that whilst it's a kid's voice, it was a talented voice - he hit all the right notes and stayed in tune throughout. Some of the facial expressions were hilarious though. Still, I know I wouldn't give a record deal to this kid if I was an exec and saw him perform like this. What? they hate his horrible music i don't think anyone could care what he looks like except those who like him of course...it can't be the music they like the hate is more for the fact that the songs he release are even allowed to be release its just lowering the bar but whatever makes money i guess Personally i'm just tired of seeing comments about him on every youtube video i don't really bother reading them but its generally there on the front page on most music videos, it'll fade soon though :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I haven't really cared enough to read articles discussing him. The internet allows for people to put over thoughts / opinions, that are gonna be polar opposites to most people. Point in case - Fred Phelps. Can't stand the guy, think he's a backwards thinking idiot, who the UK Government have rightly banned from entering the country. Now granted - there might not be as much Phelps on the internet as Bieber (ooh the temptation to make a Beaver on the internet joke ;) ), but at the end of the day - the pair are both just as avoidable. Don't click on links with Bieber in the title. Pretty much problem solved. What I don't get about people who hate him, is why they have to jump into threads that are about him, just to express how much they wanna see him get blown up to high heaven, or end up smacked off his ass on god knows what, when the fame finally goes away. I personally don't like him / dislike him - he's not really all that different from other "Tween / early teen" orientated stars from generations past - the only difference, perhaps being, that as a large percentage of said community are now "connected", his management have made extensive use of social network / networking orientated sites, such as twitter / facebook / youtube (to an extent, with channels), to make him seem more "accessible" / Push his music. Point is though - When I go on Youtube, his videos don't appear unless I look for 'em / go onto the most played videos list. When I go on Twitter - yeah he tends to be a trending topic, but he doesn't appear in my stream, as I don't follow people who either love the kid, or hate him. There's another forum I use, a Gay orientated site, that allows people to post pics of him, now he's 16. Because I'm indifferent to him, and certainly don't think he's attractive (waaaaaaaaay to young, and waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to young looking), I don't look at those threads. The same thing with anyone else I don't particularly find interesting. Can't see why other people can't do the same. Well, truth be told, to an extent - with a lot of these people who "hate" him, actually I can.
