onifoni
Hey. I want to disable Autorun on Win 7. Back on XP I used Gpedit.msc. But I find nothing about Windows 7! Nothing even on Microsoft own site. I found a support page regarding how to disable it but it does not apply to Windows 7. What do I do? Thanks

+Warwagon MVC Posted August 28, 2010 MVC Share Posted August 28, 2010 I thought windows 7 stopped supporting that because it was a security risk.
onifoni
I thought windows 7 stopped supporting that because it was a security risk. I have heard it now a few times, that USB Autorun (Autorun.inf) are disabled as default on Windows 7 but I have not seen it from any official source to be 100%!
