And it's FREE on Pick TV in the UK @ 8pm! Looking forward to this! Cro Cop is gonna be out for revenge!

Just switched over to watch and Send in the Dogs UK is on; it's actually on at 11. At least Father Ted's on right now on More 4. :p

Yeah! I have no idea why we have to get it via tape delay!

Also they've got John Gooden & Dan Hardy on commentary. Respect to Hardy as a fighter but those 2 must be the worst commentators in MMA!

Made me chuckle that Cro Cop came out for the fight first. Usually the "favourite" comes out 2nd. I guess Gonzaga was the "favourite" here!

This doesn't really do anything in the HW division because CroCop isn't really a challenger anymore

Yeah, had he not got the TKO, I think he would have lost 30-27 on all the cards.

Last night's event was GLORIOUS.

Holloway submitting Swanson probably puts him out of contention for good unless he reinvents himself.

Still a pretty awesome guy and will stay in the division for long.

The Paige VanZant fight was pretty fun. Not a good fight, but fun. It was sloppy and raw, I kind of expected Felice to use her experience and bully Paige around. She got tooled pretty good. Still, Herig is a lousy measuring stick. I'd like to see VanZant against someone like Angela Hill before they start the hype train rolling (Joanna would break her in half).

Albuquerque Police Seek UFC Fighter for Questioning

UFC fighter Jon Jones sought for questioning.

The Albuquerque Police Department is actively seeking UFC Fighter Jon Jones for questioning in regards to his possible involvement in a hit-and-run accident, near the intersection of Juan Tabo and Southern, in Southeast Albuquerque early this morning, April 26, 2015.

A pregnant female in her 20s, who was the driver of a separate vehicle, was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries.

Officers attempted to contact Mr. Jones at his residence Sunday evening, but were unsuccessful. We have also reached out to his lawyer, but as of now, have not heard back.

The Albuquerque Police Department is asking Mr. Jones to please contact us as we continue to investigate by calling (505) 242-COPS (2677).

More information will be provided when it becomes available.

.... oh man. :(

I thought that someone was innocent until proven guilty? Unless he confessed to doing it already?

Damn.

hunt1.0.0.0.0.jpg

Last night's main event was hard to watch. Hunt gassed in the first 30 seconds (he was coming in HEAVY as hell). After that, it was a complete beatdown for 5 rounds. Should've been stopped sooner. Probably shortened Mark's already short future career by a couple of years.

Hunt looked more fat than ever this time around. I am glad Miocic thrashed him around.

Cannot wait for this event. I will be in the Philippines next year at this time so I hope they do good numbers so they go back. It would be amazing to see them in person over there. Go Munoz. I like both Edgar and Faber. It is tough to pick one that I want to win. Probably Edgar by unanimous decision though.

Hunt's longevity in the fight game is astounding considering his diet. Still, this didn't do that much for Miocic since the performance certainly wasn't something people are craving to see again. This probably ended up lowering his stock with the fans. He should probably get booked against Overeem next. If they decide to do something crazy, give him Mitrione if he beats Rothwell. (If not, book the winner of Mitrione vs Rothwell against the winner of Duffee vs Mir.)

Faber has a modicum of trouble dealing with faster fighters and Edgar is as fast as they come at 145. Unless he can grab his neck in a guillotine, Edgar is probably going to tee off on his chin for 5 rounds.

The UFC will certainly return to the Philippines while continuing their Asian expansion plans It's a huge market but they still need a start to rally behind now that Mark Mu

I dont follow or participate MMA, I know some of the biggest names, but thats it.  Too many broken bones which are arthritic to try that kind of "training" now.

I wanted to post tonight because I saw a bar fight which impressed the hell out of me.  Let me preface by saying, when younger, I loved to get into fights.  I had an older brother who was huge and made a reputation for himself - I always felt I had something to prove... regardless - I fought a lot before guns were so common.  Back then, the worst thing that could happen was you get charges pressed against you and/or sued.

ANYWAY - the barfight I watched tonight had some guy of normal size (same as me and I'm 6'0" 180) and a bigger guy (about 6'3" 200-220 or so)  The younger guy knew what he was doing and embarassed the bigger guy when they started scrapping.  The smaller guy clearly practiced some form of MMA - the other guy looked like a windmilling bitch.

The thing that came to mind is "I sure am glad MMA wasnt popular when I was young" - the smallest, most nonthreatening guys will turn you into a human pretzel; and if you're lucky - they'll stop before anything is broken or dislocated.  Good MMA practitioners are some bad ass dudes in street fights.

Thats All - just have respect for those who participate.  NO Respect for the douches who think wearing an Affliction shirt makes you tough.
